Our Indoor Mission
Sherwood Indoor Soccer Recreation League emphasizes fun, team play, sportsmanship, and the development of soccer skills through game play.
INDOOR REGISTRATION NOW OPEN
All kindergarten through High School boys and girls are welcome to play. Our spring session runs April to June. Games are played on weekends at the Sherwood Field House.
Coach/Carpool requests accepted. Teams formed by coach request will play up a level to maintain fairness and competition level.
Registration - NOW OPEN
Registration begins February 1, 2012, and remains open through March 16, 2012. A late fee of $20.00 will be added to registration fees after March 16 and the player will
be placed on a waiting list, with team placement on a space available basis.
Registration can be made online or sent by mail. Payment must be made at time of Online Registration. If you wish to pay by check, please send in a completed Registration form and attach your payment.
Mail-in forms can be obtained at the Sherwood Library or at the school offices. Download a mail-in form or pick one up at the Sherwood Library or at the school office.
Kindergarten through 6th grade will play by gender. If registration numbers necessitate, grades and / or genders will be combined to create teams. If there are insufficient players to fill a league, teams will be disbanded and rebates will be issued by April 10, 2012.
Cost to Play
The registration fee is $65.00, plus $11 OYSA insurance fee if your child did not play Fall 2011 outdoor soccer.
A limited amount of FInancial Aid is available. If you are interested in receiving Financial Aid please contact the Indoor Director.
NOTE: All players will need to download and sign both pages of the Medical Release and Liability Forms
SYSC Indoor Soccer operates separately from the Field House Soccer League, but works in cooperation with the Field House and the City of Sherwood to offer our community of variety of soccer programs.

2012 Structure
Kindergarten - 2nd grade
Field Size: Field house; ½ field.
Season: April 14 to June 9 (no game Memorial Day
weekend)
Games : One/week, primarily on Saturday, Sunday possible
Practices: 10 minutes before gametime
Opponent: Other SYSC Teams
Team Format: 3 v 3 no goalie
Team Size: 6-7 players per team*
*May combine ages and genders if needed.
3rd - 6th grade
Field Size: Field house; full field.
Season: April 14 to June 9 (no game Memorial Day
weekend)
Games : One/week, primarily on Saturday
Practices: None
Opponent: Other SYSC Teams
Team Format: 6v6/ 7v7
Team Size: 10-12 players per team*
Level of play: Recreational
*May combine gender and age groups if needed.
7th grade - High School
Field Size: Field house; full field.
Season: April 14 to June 9 (no game Memorial Day
weekend)
Games : One/week, primarily on Saturday
Opponent: Other SYSC Teams
Team Format: 6v6/ 7v7
