Spring Soccer
Our mission is to develop and nurture the love of soccer in the Sherwood community. We want to prepare our players for the future, both on and off the field. We strive to create a fun and positive environment for all soccer players to learn, participate, enjoy and achieve success. Recreational soccer is not just about winning and losing, but rather, in how each individual player performs and develops throughout each season.
Season Dates:
April 5- June 1 (No games Memorial Day Weekend)
There are no practices during the week - only games on the weekend.
Players will need shin guards, long socks to cover shin guards, indoor turf shoes or soccer cleats and soccer ball. Game t-shirts will be given out in the first game.
Uniforms:
Kindergarten - High School: Receive a game t-shirt with their registration.
All players will need shin guards. Players may wear cleats, indoor soccer shoes or tennis shoes.
Registration:
Begins in January 9th and runs through February. CLICK HERE TO REGISTER (link is live Jan-9)
A limited number of financial aid scholarships are available. To request financial aid, please [email protected].
Teams will be formed at the end of March. Registration numbers will be used to group-age together.
Generally K-1st / 2nd - 3rd / 4th - 5th / 6th, 7th and 8th / HS. If necessary some ages may be co-ed. All high school teams will be co-ed.
Fees:
Early Registration: Jan 9 - Jan 31 = $75.00
Regular Registration: Feb 1 - Feb 29 = $85.00
Late Registration Fee = Additional $20.00
*$13 OYSA fee for players who did not already pay with outdoor fall registration.
Refunds:
Full refund, less a $15 administrative fee (and $13 OYSA fee if paid) will be allowed up to the first game day. After that date, no refunds will be allowed.

K-2: Ridges Elementary; South (outdoor)
3-HS: Field House (indoor)

Availability:
Space is limited and filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Once a limit is reached for age and gender, team admission will be closed and a waitlist will be started.
Player Request:
Players may submit a reciprocal friend/carpool request. You may only request one other player and they must request you as well. The player requests will be filled as best we can, but are not guaranteed.
